Kinesiology Tape

This is very different to traditional rigid tape as it is extremely stretchy and pliable. It is applied to the body to facilitate movement and enhance muscle activity. As the tape is stretched and applied to the skin, it bunches the top layer of skin and lifts it away from the muscle, creating a small gap between skin and muscle. This provides functional support while allowing full range of movement, increased blood flow and lymphatic drainage.

Kinesiology taping can be used for; Postural correction, reducing inflammation, bruising and edema, reducing muscle pain and cramping, reducing joint pain and for proprioception and biofeedback to the brain.
